OK, here is the deal. My new book that I am putting together should have been ready and published by now. The only thing standing in the way now – is me.
It’s a shame because Ethan Zohn has written a great foreword to the book. Shep Messing has also provided his own message that I included. Scott Tinley and two-time Olympian Vicki Huber-Rudawsky have provided some great feedback that appears on the back cover. The art work is done …. But I just can’t get past the last round of editing because right now at this moment in time, I don’t like what I have written. I am stuck and I am being my own worst critic.
The title is “Finding the Center… ramblings on life and sport” The story behind the title is one thing that I do like, but you will have to wait for that story…
I’m sure this will pass, hopefully soon. My goal is to finalize everything by this weekend. Once finalized, advance copies will be available directly from the publisher prior to retail release. So, bear with me. I’m close.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Grassroot Soccer.

Dude – The weather is supposed to be nice; a cool Autumn day on Saturday. Whether at home or down the Shore, take a nice bike ride or run early Sat morning. Have a cold 6-pack in the fridge for when you get home. Sit down, have a brew, a snack, crank up some tunes, and just be YOU. Then it will all fall in place. Good luck!
Thanks Jeff. It’s a great idea but I would only need one of those beers ! And that would probably even put me to sleep.
Okay so just have one or take a nap and then write……either way get out there and clear your head with a little exercise and the words will just flow………keep the faith! Can’t wait to order my copy…………..
The real issue is that the writing is DONE. And when I wrote the pieces, I “felt” them. But at the moment, I don’t and I have to “feel” them again to be able to let them go.
