Amica Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island will take place on July 10, 2011 in Providence, R.I. The 1.2-mile, one-loop swim will take place in Lincoln Woods Park. Athletes will then head out on the 56-mile bike course through quiet, scenic local communities before beginning the 13.1-mile run through downtown Providence and finishing in front of the State Capitol. The HRMS Naperville Sprint is set for Aug. 14, 2011 in Naperville, Ill. The HRMS Naperville Sprint will feature a 400-meter swim in Centennial Beach Pool, a 22k bike through the Naperville area and a 5k run course that finishes in Centennial Park. K-Swiss Ironman 70.3 Branson is set to take place on Sept. 18, 2011 in Branson, Miss. The 1.2-mile swim will be in one of the cleanest lakes in the country, Table Rock Lake and the 56-mile bike course is challenging and fast with incredible mountaintop views. The flat three-loop run course features great spectator support and an incredible finish line in front of a multi-million dollar water fountain synchronized to light, fire and music. Ironman 70.3 Syracuse is set for Sept.18, 2011 in Syracuse, N.Y. Ironman 70.3 Syracuse will feature a 1.2-mile swim in Jamesville Reservoir and a 56-mile bike through Syracuse and the surrounding roads of Highland Forest Park. The point-to-point run course is mostly downhill and finishes in downtown Syracuse. Athletes will compete for 40 slots to the 2012 Ironman World Championship 70.3. ESi Ironman 70.3 Augusta will take place on Sept. 25, 2011 in Augusta, Ga. The 1.2-mile, point-to-point swim will be held in the Savannah River. The one-loop bike course is a relatively hilly course that takes athletes through Georgia for the first few miles before crossing the border into South Carolina for the majority of the bike leg. The flat run is a double-loop course that snakes athletes through the downtown Augusta area, allowing spectators to see their athlete several times throughout the course. Ironman 70.3 Austin is set for Oct. 23, 2011 in Austin, Texas. The 1.2-mile swim will take place in Decker Lake. Athletes will then head out on a scenic, one-loop bike course through rolling Texas farmland before beginning the two-loop run course through Walter E. Long Park and finishing inside Luedecke Area.
