Ironman 70.3 Series Expands to Pocono MountainsScheduled for Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, Ironman 70.3 Pocono Mountains will take place in and around the scenic Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area with a fantastic finish down Main Street in historic Stroudsburg, PA. The inaugural race will mark the first Ironman event in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and will include a multisport expo and other interactive events. Course maps and additional race details will be announced in the coming months.

Ironman 70.3 Pocono Mountains will be produced by Philadelphia Triathlon, LLC, owner and operator of the Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon, a top-ranked international distance triathlon in the United States.
