Comcast Sportsnet’s Net Impact

We shot some more footage for my upcoming feature on the Comcast Sportsnet show, Net Impact yesterday. Myself, my wife, both daughters, and granddaughter went to the veteran’s memorial park where my dad has a bench and filmed a bunch of family, as well as running and biking sequences.

memorial parkWe shot some potentially very inspirational footage. This is the park that we visited immediately after hearing of my leukemia diagnosis 6 years ago.  On February 24th, 2006,  my wife and I left the oncologist’s office and drove to the park to talk through our plan of attack in the presence of my dad. Then I proceeded to run up a short hill, (seen in photo), let out a brief but vocal battle cry, and deemed myself ready to kick the snot out of leukemia – which I did.

This should put the finishing touches on filming. I am very curious to see how it turns out. The show is anticipated to air in March. Will keep you posted.
