St. Anthony’s Triathlon Announces New Swim Course
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Athletes will take on a fresh challenge at the 2012 St. Anthony’s Triathlon as race officials have permanently moved the open water swim portion of the race to an area of Tampa Bay north of North Shore Pool in St. Petersburg.

Give Triathlon Back to the Triathletes
I need to vent a little bit on this new program initiated by the World Triathlon Corporation – Ironman Access. And I really hope that after I do vent, I will feel better because I really do love this sport and hate to see it tarnished. For the last few years I have been growing increasingly disgruntled at the rising cost and market saturation of the “M-Dot” product produced by the WTC but this time they have taken the greed machine way too far.
WTC Announces Venue Change for Ironman World Championship 70.3
Oct. 7, 2010 (Tampa, Fla.) – Today, World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) announces a change in venue for the Ironman World Championship 70.3. Beginning in 2011, the race will move to Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, Nev., located just minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip. Since its inception in 2006, the championship race in the global Ironman 70.3 Series has been held in Clearwater, Fla.
WTC Launches New Global Event Series
Oct. 5, 2010 (Tampa, Fla.) – Today, World Triathlon Corporation (WTC), best known for its worldwide Ironman and Ironman 70.3 races, announces the launch of a new global event series titled 5150. All events within the 5150 Triathlon Series include a 1.5K swim, 40K bike and 10K run. Event information, including online registration details, will be available in the coming weeks on www.5150.com.
