Chicago Visit With Team Teva

I was honored to be in ChiTown this week as part of the Bendeka Patient Advocacy Groups Advisory Board hosted by Teva Pharmaceuticals. Some of you might recall that I was treated with Teva Pharmaceutical’s drug Bendeka last year with very positive results. While in Chicago I had the opportunity to meet with some of Teva’s partners and discuss brand and treatment awareness from a patient’s perspective.

I was fortunate to have stumbled upon some excellent running trails during my brief visit. Which included the River Walkway along the Chicago River as well as the path surrounding Lake Michigan. Amazing runs and views. Including this skyline view from my hotel room.

This is just another opportunity to engage with the oncological community in an effort to continue to raise the bar and advance the mission. It’s another example of living above and not simply with chronic leukemia.

I also made a couple of good connections which will likely lead to some new partnerships and ventures on the horizon. Control the things you can control. Get involved.
