Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year

Many of you know that I have been nominated to run for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year award. The Man & Woman of the Year is a national campaign to raise funds to cure leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. In case you are not aware of my story, I will give you a few of the highlights. Unassuming Woman Turns Force to Be Reckoned With

LLS Man of the Year Candidate

I was reluctant at first to take on another initiative but once I spent a minute to really think about the honor and what it stands for, it was a slam-dunk decision. What this really means is that I will embark on a fundraising campaign in early April that will run through the end of June and will try to raise as much money as possible to aid in the battle against blood cancers.
