Racing the Sunset

Don’t worry. You are not “normal”. I suspect you never were, and it’s unlikely that you ever will be and that’s a good thing. None of us are and we are proud to have you sit on the board of our abnormal council. The respect that I have for you as a triathlete is tremendous BUT it cannot hold a candle to the respect I have for you and your post competitive days and life outside of sport.

I want to introduce you all to a friend of mine. Todd Crandell and I met several years ago when I interviewed him for a piece for Transitiontimes.com. That interview bloomed into a good friendship which brought him to Philly to race the Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon.

2010 Ironman Lottery Now Open

A mainstay in the history of the Ironman, the Ironman Lottery began in 1983 thanks to the vision of one of Ironman's founders, John Collins, as a way to provide athletes of all abilities the opportunity to qualify for the world's most challenging one-day endurance event. The 2010 Ironman Lottery Program officially opened on Wednesday, October 1 and will close on Saturday, February 28, 2010 with all winning entries being announced on Wednesday, April 15, 2010.
