Congrats Philly Tri Participants, Volunteers, and Staff

It was a rough weekend at this year's Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon. Congratulations to all athletes, regardless of the outcome of your day. You were faced with your share of challenges this weekend. Great job just enduring and adapting. Some of you may not have had the perfect race. But none of you raced in perfect conditions so pat yourselves on the back.

State of My Union

Greetings. I have been quite busy as of late which is the reason for my limited writing. All is going very well though. Our TEAM IN TRAINING athletes are coming off an outstanding weekend in St. Petersburg Florida at the St. Anthony’s triathlon. We had two slight casualties during the course of the race and as unfortunate as that is, the dignity and courage that both athletes displayed through their disappointment makes them both champions in my book.

The Philadelphia Marathon & TNT Talk

I was asked to be the inspirational speaker at the 2009 TEAM IN TRAINING pasta dinner prior to this weekend’s Philadelphia Marathon. It was a great evening. I really do love to address those groups and do so any time that I am asked. I always meet some amazing people and walk away feeling like I totally understand what I am supposed to do on this earth

NYC 26.2

If nothing else, I will have fun. I don't anticipate an exceptionally fast day. But between the newness and excitement of a course like NY, and sharing it with 48,000 other runners and a couple of million spectators, you never know what kind of day it could turn out to be.
