Registration for 5th Annual Nation’s Triathlon™ to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Opens December 1

The first triathlon in the nation to benefit research toward curing blood cancers, the Nation’s Triathlon™ will take place Sunday, September 12, 2010 in the nation’s Capital. One of the nation’s largest Olympic distance races, competitors will take part in a 1.5k swim in the Potomac River, 40k bike course through D.C., and a 10k run through downtown DC’s historical landmarks.

The Philadelphia Marathon & TNT Talk

I was asked to be the inspirational speaker at the 2009 TEAM IN TRAINING pasta dinner prior to this weekend’s Philadelphia Marathon. It was a great evening. I really do love to address those groups and do so any time that I am asked. I always meet some amazing people and walk away feeling like I totally understand what I am supposed to do on this earth

Sometimes Stuff Happens

The weekend started out like the other five “Chessyman” ultras that I have successfully completed. I got into Cambridge on Thursday, dropped my belongings at the gorgeous house we had rented from a friend and headed over to help out race director Rob Vigorito with registration.

Living the Tri Life

Survivor Story

In May 2004, Bill Crews finished the worst six months of his life. a competitive swimmer and coach, Crews had been training for his first triathlon when his shoulder got sore. He went to the doctor thinking he had torn a rotator cuff and came out learning he had cancer.
