HEADstrong’s Lime Light Gala
On Friday, March 23, 2012 the HEADstrong Foundation will roll out the lime green carpet for what has become one of the most special events in all of lacrosse. The 2nd Annual Lime Light Gala; an evening in remembrance of HEADstrong founder Nicholas E. Colleluori, honoring the patients, families, survivors and victims of blood cancer and benefitting Nick’s House, the Nicholas E. Colleluori Lymphoma Research Fund at the Abramson Cancer Center and the City of Hope.

Reasons
I connected with two more people last week who looking for cancer support and help. One is himself a patient with my y blood cancer. I was introduced to him through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's First Connection program. And the other is a guy I knew whose wife was recently diagnosed.

A Couple of Quick Updates
Just a few quickies to keep people in the loop. First of all, I added the new National Harbor Ironman 70.3 to the schedule this year. Race date is August 5th and this will fit in nicely between Eagleman Ironman 70.3 in June and Chesapeakeman Ultra Triathlon in September.

Make it FIT
Your New Year’s resolutions should be handled no differently than any other goal that you set for yourself. Those goals should be realistic and attainable. Those goals should also be written down somewhere to serve as a reminder of your commitment and hopefully you are tracking your progress along the way. Many of you have set goals or made resolutions for yourself. And I hope you are all still on course and sticking to your plan.
