Steadfast, Relentless, and HEADstrong
I am still struggling over finding just the right words to appropriately describe how moved I was at the 2nd Annual HEADStrong Lime Light Gala, held on March 23rd at the Hyatt at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia or how extremely honored I am to be the recipient of the Nicholas E. Colleluori Award for my [...]

A Couple of Quick Updates
Just a few quickies to keep people in the loop. First of all, I added the new National Harbor Ironman 70.3 to the schedule this year. Race date is August 5th and this will fit in nicely between Eagleman Ironman 70.3 in June and Chesapeakeman Ultra Triathlon in September.

Make it FIT

Those goals should also be written down somewhere to serve as a reminder of your commitment and hopefully you are tracking your progress along the way. Many of you have set goals or made resolutions for yourself. And I hope you are all still on course and sticking to your plan. But what happens when your plan becomes challenged as you react to all of life’s curve balls and detours?
SIX
6 years ago today, a doctor that I had known for all of one week gave me an opportunity. He punched my golden ticket. While I didn’t quite see it that way on the afternoon of February 24th, 2006, I was given an opportunity to help, to serve, to guide, to mentor, to coach, to [...]
Comcast Sportsnet’s Net Impact
We shot some more footage for my upcoming feature on the Comcast Sportsnet show, Net Impact yesterday. Myself, my wife, both daughters, and granddaughter went to the veteran’s memorial park where my dad has a bench and filmed a bunch of family, as well as running and biking sequences.
We shot some potentially very inspirational footage. [...]
HEADstrong Gala Speaking Engagement
I am both honored and excited to have been asked to speak at this year's gala. The cause has gained national recognition and the gala itself is going to be huge. The timing of the invitation is perfect. The evening will be hosted by Comcast's Gregg Murphy, who is featuring me on their show "Net Impact" which will air in March just prior to the Gala.
