Lance Armstrong to Participate in the Rev3 Half Full Triathlon
Sept. 19, 2012 - Baltimore - Today, the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults announced that Lance Armstrong will race side-by-side with fellow cancer survivors in the third annual Half Full Triathlon on Oct. 7, 2012 in Howard County, Md. Armstrong plans to take part in the half distance, which includes a .9-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride and a 13.1-mile run. He will compete in the cancer survivor wave, beginning at approximately 7:30 a.m.

A Couple of Quick Updates
Just a few quickies to keep people in the loop. First of all, I added the new National Harbor Ironman 70.3 to the schedule this year. Race date is August 5th and this will fit in nicely between Eagleman Ironman 70.3 in June and Chesapeakeman Ultra Triathlon in September.

ChesapeakeMan Ultra Triathlon – This event has been named a “140.6 Best Race,” in Triathlete Magazine’s March, 2010 edition, and is the USAT Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship event. Come experience 140.6 miles of Maryland Eastern Shore hospitality as featured in James Michener's book "Chesapeake". CheseapeakeMan uses much of the world-renowned Ironman 70.3 EagleMan venue. Start your day with a 2.4-mile Swim in the protected Hambrooks Bay section of the Choptank River in Great Marsh Park. Then follow with a two loop cycling experience through the flat and windy Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. The run is a three loop fast and flat course with a finish at Cambridge - South Dorchester High School. Join us for the Champions Brunch & Awards at the Hyatt Regency on Sunday morning.
Brad Schoener Memorial 5k Walk & Run Registration Now Open
Along the course, runners and walkers will be treated to live music by some of Brad’s students and friends. After the race enjoy more live music right across the street at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center at the Music Marathon to benefit the Brad Schoener Fund.
