It’s Just a (Bigger) Number

The funny thing about the concept of age and the multisport athlete is that it really is just a number. We are all kids. We may feel like 150 year old kids the day after a tough event. But we bounce back like kids too.

Rambling On

Well here we are in that dead week in between Christmas and New Years. The no fly zone. Not a whole lot happens this week but it’s a nice transition period between all of the Christmas excitement and the energy that the breaking new year brings with it. I usually remain in the Holiday spirit until a few days into January and then I am ready to put everything away and fast forward the calendar to April.

SheROX Triathlon Series Returns and Expands 2010 Schedule

December 22, 2009 – (Philadelphia, PA) – The SheROX Triathlon Series, the fast growing all-women’s sprint distance triathlon series, returns in 2010 with an expanded schedule. The 2010 SheROX Series will include stops in Philadelphia, Miami, Tempe, AZ, Rock Hill, SC, and Boulder, CO. Additional cities will be announced in the coming weeks. The schedule to date is as follows: Miami, FL – April 25, Tempe, AZ- May 8, Boulder, CO – July 18, Philadelphia, PA - August 1 and Rock Hill, SC – October 9.

USA Triathlon Announces Hall of Fame Inductees

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Five individuals who have impacted the sport of triathlon will be inducted into USA Triathlon's Hall of Fame on Feb. 13, 2010. A banquet in their honor will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo.
